Marathon Training

Happy Sunday friends!

18 miles—done!

I am 11 weeks into training for my 4th full marathon.

This is my first big race since having the triplets in 2016. By far, this training has been going the best. I think after having the triplets I am finally taking the pressure off of myself thinking I need to train 6 days a week to do good, but I feel great!

My training schedule this time around has included three days of running, two days using the spin bike, two rest days. I feel refreshed before each run and think for the first time I am not over-training this go-around. Marathon training takes so much time for anyone. Getting in three runs a week is much more manageable while trying to balance the triplets, a full-time job, and just life in general.
