Banana Apple Honey Almond Overnight Oats

Meal prepping for the week saves me. It helps us not eat out as much, stick to our food budget, and makes meals and snacks come together in a breeze.

Today I have a recipe to share that is my go-to breakfast when I am at work. I own a bakery and work Wednesday-Saturday. We do delicious pastries, cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and so much more! If I don’t have something fast and easy to grab for breakfast you can bet I would grab a massive cinnamon roll and start eating it out of control. Rushed + starving are my worst enemies when it comes to making a healthy choice for a meal.

Here my friends is the ever so popular overnight oats. Overnight oats have exploded the internet and you can even buy them already to go at the grocery now. The possibilities are endless and I have to say, I am on the overnight oat train.

Banana Apple Honey Almond Overnight Oats servings-1 
time-10 mins + sit overnight 



 1/2 cup old fashioned oats 
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk 
1 tsp. chia seeds
 1/3 cup apple, diced 
1/3 cup banana, diced 
1 T. almond butter, smooth or crunchy Drizzle of honey 


In an individual bowl that has a lid layer all ingredients.
 Use a spoon to mix everything together. 
 Cover and put in the refrigerator at least 8 hours or up to 3 days. 
Drizzle with honey before eating and I actually warm mine for 1 minute in the microwave! Perfect fast breakfast at work!
 I like to make at least 3 at a time (usually uses 1 apple + 1 banana for 3 bowls).

Even the boys can help chop!
