A tostada in our house is basically a hard shell taco that is flat. We keep it super simple.
I had leftover filling from the stuffed peppers and wanted to use them for another meal this week.
I toasted up the tostadas in a 400 degree oven then covered them with refried beans, topped with the filling mixture, and a sprinkle of cheese.
Bake them in the oven at 400 degrees for another 15 minutes and another dinner is complete.
